​Dennis Jackson has worked in many aspects of film production and live entertainment events.  He has built stages for music festivals and concerts throughout Australia.  Mr. Jackson has also designed, built and installed Jumbotron screens at some of Australia's premiere sports venues.  As an independent filmmaker, he has made short films for entry into the TropFest Film Festival.  Dennis is a talented multi-tasker who has held production roles from Production Assistant to Boom Operator, as well as Cameraman and Floor Director.  He spent five years as a Research Editor for Corbis Corporation and has continuously honed his skills as an actor.  Most recently, he was employed as a Camera Operator at WATN-ABC Local24 in Memphis, TN.

Composes and frames shots, applying the technical aspects of light, lenses and camera settings to achieve the effects sought by directors. Works with Technical Director to deliver a clean and high energy newscast. Adjusts positions and controls of cameras to change focus, exposure and lighting as requested by the director. Operates studio cameras during live broadcasts. Confers with directors and other crew members to discuss sequences, desired effects, camera movements and lighting requirements. Sets up and performs shots for broadcasts. Sets up cameras and related equipment. Tests, cleans, maintains and repairs camera equipment. Performs other duties as assigned.

Video Screen Technician

​Designed, installed and programmed Jumbotron screens for sports venues throughout New South Wales, Australia as a contractor for ScreenCorp (LED Screen Company). Also functioned as cameraman for the production unit at sporting events. Clients include National Rugby League, Australian Continental Basketball, Australian Rugby Union, and sports venues throughout Australia.
